Who we are
Altair Prep is a trading name of Axiom Consultants Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10604460), based in London, United Kingdom. We provide one-to-one online SAT tuition. You can contact us at lewis@altairprep.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this site or by email, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, city, the student’s year group, target test date, and anything you write in your message. If you unlock the extra practice worksheets, we collect your name, email address and (optionally) a target test date so we can email you the download links and know who asked. We do not collect payment details through this site.
How we use it
We use your enquiry details only to respond to you, arrange an introductory call, and, if you become a client, to deliver tuition. Worksheet-unlock details are used to send you the files and to tell us that a pack was requested. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their marketing.
Who processes it
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Enquiry and worksheet-unlock messages are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider. Those messages currently send from an address on aheadrevision.com (a related site of ours) to lewis@altairprep.com. You can also reach us at lewis@altairprep.com directly.
Advertising, cookies and local storage
If you arrived via one of our advertisements, this site may use Google Ads conversion tracking, which sets a cookie so Google can tell us that an advert led to an enquiry. This measures our advertising; it does not give us your browsing history. You can learn more or opt out at Google’s advertising policies page. We also use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics tool that sets cookies to show us anonymised recordings and heatmaps of how visitors use this site (with typed text masked), which we use solely to improve the site. Appearance (light or dark) is stored in your browser’s local storage. Worksheet download links, after you unlock them, are stored in session storage on your device until you close the tab. We do not set other first-party cookies.
Where your data lives and how long we keep it
Enquiries are delivered to our email and are handled within our website infrastructure (Cloudflare and Resend). We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years so we can pick up conversations that resume, then delete it. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver tuition and meet legal obligations. Worksheet download links on this site expire after 24 hours.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere, we extend the same courtesies. Email lewis@altairprep.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Our clients are parents and students preparing for university admission. Where a student is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian makes the initial enquiry and remains the contact for scheduling and payment.
