SAT tutoring for students in Kuwait City

Kuwait is one of the few places where the SAT is not only an admissions test. A large share of Kuwaiti students who study abroad do so on a government scholarship, and the scholarship bodies set minimum SAT scores for eligibility and for particular destinations. That turns the score into a gate rather than a tiebreaker: a student can have everything else in place and be a few dozen points short of the line.

The schools reflect the same orientation. Kuwait's American-curriculum schools, among them the American School of Kuwait, the American International School, the American Academy and the Universal American School, have sent students to the United States for decades, and the British and IB schools alongside them send a growing number. What most of those students meet locally is group preparation built around the same shortcut material, taught to a room at very different scores.

One-to-one lessons are built around a specific target: the threshold for the scholarship, the range for the university, and the sitting that gets there with a resit in hand.

Kuwait City is on UTC+3. These are the slots students here book most often, with the corresponding UK time in both halves of the year, so you can see the lesson falls inside a normal working day at the tutor's end, which is what keeps a weekly slot stable through a whole term.

Many students preparing for the SAT in Kuwait are at one of its international schools. Among the best known are American School of Kuwait, The British School of Kuwait, Kuwait English School and American International School of Kuwait.

One rate for every student: £135 an hour, roughly KWD 57 at mid-2026 exchange rates.
